Through the practise of gentle yoga, nidra, vinyasa flow and sound baths you will rejuvenate your body and mind.
About the retreat venue:
Godshill Park Barn, located in the picturesque village of Godshill on the southern part of the Isle of Wight, is the ideal place to relax and reconnect with nature. Combining traditional and modern elements, this stunning rural architecture is situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
All yoga classes will be taught by me. Through dynamic yoga to strengthen and stabilise muscles, gentle yoga to calm the nervous system, deeply relaxing yoga nidra and sound baths*, I will guide you on a journey of renewal that only a yoga retreat can offer.
You can choose to participate in all or some of the classes.
*Sound baths will be led by a local sound practitioner.
Outline of the weekend:
On Friday 6th October, arrive at the venue at approximately 4pm and I will welcome you with hot drinks and homemade cakes.
After settling into your room, we will meet in the yoga studio for an opening circle and gentle yoga practice. Dinner and chats will follow.
On Saturday, greet the day with a brief mindful, silent walk in nature before the vinyasa yoga practice. Fuel up with a yummy brunch and get ready for a group walk to the coast and the village of Ventnor (approx. 90 min walk). Return to Godshill Park Barn early afternoon for some free time before the gentle evening yoga and the deeply relaxing sound baths. If you’d like to book a massage during the free time on Saturday afternoon, I can help coordinate that with a local massage therapist. Dinner and chats will follow.
On Sunday, start the day with a mindful, silent, nature walk, practice vinyasa yoga, and have breakfast together. Explore the village of Godshill before lunch, then relax before the retreat‘s closing circle. We will leave on Sunday early afternoon.
Anyone who wishes to extend their stay at Godshill Park Barn can take advantage of preferential bed and breakfast rates, which will be agreed and booked directly with the owners.
By train: Travel to Portsmouth Harbour 20 min passenger ferry from within the train station to Ryde and taxi to the retreat venue.
By car: drive to Portsmouth and take the 45 min vehicle ferry to Fishbourne, then drive to the retreat venue.
Ferries to the Isle of Wight also depart from Southampton and Lymington.

International travellers: Closest airport is Southampton. Ferries run from there to the Isle of Wight.
