10-week online course starts Tuesday 7th October 2025
Movement and stillness, effort and ease, strength and softness — they always co-exist. In this course, we’ll explore how to weave these qualities together, creating a practice that supports balance, health, and renewal.
Running from 7th October to 9th December 2025, this online course offers live one-hour classes every Tuesday at 7 PM London time on Zoom.
Can’t make the live session? Each class recording will be available until mid January 2026, so you can revisit and practise in your own time.
Each class will include neuro and mobility drills as well as dynamic vinyasa sequences that build strength and energy (Yang), then softens into longer-held, yin-inspired poses (Yin) in the last 10 minutes of class, before closing with savasana.
This progression allows you to feel both recharged and deeply relaxed — invigorated by movement, yet grounded in stillness. You’ll leave each class with a sense of balance, vitality, and calm.
In yoga philosophy, every posture is said to be sthira sukham asanam — both steady (sthira) and easeful (sukham). This balance is at the heart of our practice together.
Sthira reminds us to cultivate strength, stability, and focus.
Sukham invites us to soften, breathe, and find comfort even in challenge.
Through this course, we’ll embody these qualities — discovering how strength supports relaxation, and how relaxation deepens strength.
